Overview

The Australian Government’s flagship international scholarship, funded by DFAT as part of the aid programme. It pays for a full master’s degree (and in some countries a bachelor’s) at a participating Australian university, with living costs, flights and health cover included.

Eligibility

You must be a citizen of a participating partner country, be applying from outside Australia, meet the minimum academic and English requirements, and commit to returning home for at least two years after finishing. Application windows are set country by country — check your country profile on the DFAT site, as most open around February and close in April or May.
