Editorial policy

Our goal is to give students accurate, useful and independent information about studying in Australia.

Sourcing

We compile university and course data from official sources. Courses, course codes, durations and published international tuition fees come from the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), published as open data by the Australian Government Department of Education. Institutional facts such as founding year, student numbers and official websites come from Wikidata, with a citation stored against each record. QS World University Rankings positions are taken from sourced Wikidata statements and only applied where an institution genuinely holds one — we never estimate a ranking. Visa, fee and immigration guidance is written from the Department of Home Affairs, TEQSA and the universities' own published information.

What we will not publish

We do not invent numbers. Where a provider has not published a fee, a founding year or a student count, the field stays empty and the page says so rather than showing an estimate dressed up as a fact. Programme records are never generated — every course on this site exists on the government register, and we show its CRICOS course code so you can check it yourself.

Review & freshness

Records are reviewed regularly. Each university page shows when it was last updated, and we flag data that needs re-verification internally.

Independence

Commercial relationships (advertising, affiliates, lead generation) never influence the factual content, ordering methodology or which universities we include.

Careful language

We avoid guarantees such as “guaranteed admission” or “guaranteed visa”. We describe universities factually — “ranked highly by…”, “known for…”, “popular among…”.
