Murdoch University’s Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation double degree is designed for those interested in both commercial operations and starting new ventures. Students take units in key business disciplines such as marketing, finance, management, and business law alongside subjects in entrepreneurial thinking, new venture creation, and innovation strategies.

Australian bachelor degrees take three years full-time, but this double degree extends to four years. The course is structured into semesters, with students completing core units alongside electives and specialisation subjects. Throughout the course, there are opportunities for work-integrated learning, such as internships with start-ups, established companies, or local industry partners in Perth, allowing students to apply their skills in a real business environment.

Students gain knowledge and practical experience in problem solving, leadership, digital business, and sustainable innovation. A capstone project in the final year brings together theory and practice, often involving the development of a new business concept, market research, or consultancy for a local business.

This course suits anyone looking to understand business from both a management and entrepreneurial perspective. There are work rights of 48 hours per fortnight while enrolled, and graduates may be eligible for the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) post-study work stream.
